As a vet with a pair of bad knees that act up in the winter...
I feel that feel, bro.
@Dominic: Oh man, you have my sympathies. What branch, if I may ask?
@mitchellbravo: Army, five years and two tours. Body just wasn't built for all that gear bouncing up and down on it. Such is life. I'd still be doing it if they'd let me. It's harder now. Now... now I have to deal with frat boys.
But this? This and the FIRST PAGE! I pointed right at my screen and went YES! YES, someone who UNDERSTANDS!
@Dominic: Hahaaa I'm glad you've enjoyed the comic! And good for you, man. My sister's boyfriend is in the army, he's been overseas in South Korea since July and hopefully will be home in time to make it to her high school graduation. He left town a scrawny, gangly kid, and came back from boot camp maxed out and healthy as an ox :P
@mitchellbravo: Yeah, that happens. I lost 43 pounds in basic, another 20 in Field Artillery School. Came out looking like a side of beef. Military does quite a bit of good for a great many young men and women.
Well he DID SAY it was not good for his legs to be out in that weather... :C
@Oly-RRR: You know, and she's been with him long enough to know that, too- she probably could have at least let him into the vestibule >:( Maybe she was hoping the cold would get him to bug off.
@mitchellbravo: That's a kind of cruel thing to do but my characters do this stuff to each other without a second thought all the time so... X|
@Oly-RRR: Hahahaha I guess it's one of those things that outside of the context of a specific relationship seems really horrible, isn't it?
@mitchellbravo: Yeah, totally!
