And trying some new marker techniques with this set of strips.

I love flashbacks. I've always been intrigued by things that focus on change over time, so it's especially fun for me to draw my characters as they would have appeared years before we met them. In this particular flashback, the bulk of the kids are about eight years old.

A confession: This was originally supposed to be Ulysses' flashback. He hasn't been featured in a while and I wanted to give him some screentime, but that's going to have to wait a little while. If that name doesn't ring a bell, that is fully understandable, as he himself hasn't been seen since several chapters ago, and his most recent appearance was, incidentally, in another flashback. The more you know.

I really like the establishing panel! And I like flashbacks too! :D We all spend a surprising amount of time thinking about the past so it'd be weird to always keep time in stories completely linear.

@Oly-RRR: Thanks! I adore drawing the cast when they were kids. Gonna have another scene for sure coming up in another chapter or two, actually. It's funny since you just put up the page with Gavin's ballet flashback XD
