Chess- game of the upper-class.

Don't worry, there aren't going to now be a whole mess of pages about Tony teaching Aggie to play chess. We have one more page with them and then we move onto some of our other poor neglected characters.

My summer has been a bit bustlier than I had envisioned, so I'm going to try to adhere to a once-a-week update schedule for a while to keep things evenly paced (though desperately slow). By the time you read this, in fact, I will be exploring our nation's historic South (or at least one area of one state).

At some point I need to rename all of the strip titles, these numbers are kind of boring. I also need to shift the expanded cast pages over to this site. I also need to create new chapter-opener-pages, and I'm still not satisfied with the opening pages of the whole comic.

Someday my prince will come!!

While I can't play chess and don't find the game fascinating enough to learn I can think of chess explanations in stories being fun - there's an episode of The Wire where a drug dealer starts explaining chess to his posse and I think it's a pretty cool piece of writing - he takes this ancient (and slightly geeky by now) game and translates it into street language.

And oh gosh, Aggie, when you say "more interesting", you don't mean playing chess like a drinking game or spin the bottle? XD

@Oly-RRR: It can definitely be done well, that's for sure, I just don't think I'm one to do it well XD Aaaah I have The Wire on MY to watch list! :P We are just trading FX dramas!

@mitchellbravo: I haven't finished it yet but speaking of FX I'm in the middle of Fargo! The latter is a bit hilarious for me to watch because some characters remind me of Cop Story characters. I might draw some "nods" to that but it'll probably be just doodles, not proper comics.

@Oly-RRR: I've been meaning to watch the movie Fargo for a long time, but have heard good things about the series. *sigh* I wish I had more patience to watch these programs, lol. That's awesome, I love when characters in other works remind us of our own :P
