Hey, don't those fellas look familiar? No? That might be because I last drew them three years ago. I like to think they look much better nowadays. It took me a while to get a hang of foreheads back in the day I guess. 2009 self, you were a dumb self.
And finally we get to see some more of poor neglected Ulysses as well.
Phun Phact: Ulysses' name was originally supposed to be "James."
And bonus link for the week: Everyone ought to check out my man LibbertyCabbage's Freakboy Did a Bad Thing. He's only 5 comics in now so it's a great time to get a taste of what's to come. LC also writes webcomic reviews that he posts at his blog, The Webcomic Police.
Aww, you're too nice. :) I'll have a link to Loud Era up with tomorrow's page.
Matthew Minson's face seems familiar- HANG ON
And I'm getting a kick out of Uly's spelling. XD It's weird, I feel annoyed when adults who finished high school and don't have any mental issues that would impair spelling skills can't be arsed to spell properly in real life (I don't mean intentional stuff or typos, I mean when someone writes "aggrivating" over and over) but I'm amused when fictional characters do it.
And I agree. Uly definitely wasn't at the head of his class :P For some reason it's a lot of fun to write his "writing," just imagining which would be the "trouble" words and which ones he'd have had the hang of :P
