So uhhhh... I guess this is one of those storylines when we find out whether I'm a decent writer or a mediocre one.
As promised, here's the strip that ran on March 19, 2009. Enjoy the anachronistic dialogue, and just the general feel like you have got Vaseline smeared over your computer screen making the page look blurry.
Fun fact- Don't those dialogue bubbles look kinda weird? Almost like they were drawn on a separate piece of paper, cut out, and then painstakingly glued onto the page that had the images? Well, that's because it's true! For some inane reason that I can't remember, I decided it was "better" to do the dialogue on a separate piece of paper and then transfer it onto the illustrated page. I honestly cannot remember the reason I had for doing this. I did it for the entire length of this "season," all 22 pages.
FRIDAY COME BACK ON FRIDAY GOT ANOTHER PAGE COMING UP FOR YOU ON FRIDAY
Did he shrink with worry?
@Ddraigeneth: Oops! He is supposed to be quite a bit shorter than Clarabelle, but came out a little too small in the first panel and I forgot to fix it :(
Clarabelle's a fan of Mel Gibson! *Gasp*
@RobotThePirate: LOL. That one took me a minute XD
Aw man, I keep forgetting there were times when this was an issue. Or families for which it was an issue, which still happens somewhere, I guess...
@Oly-RRR: Right? :( :(
