Had a good amount of fun drawing that approaching train. The smoke clouds looked soooo sick on paper, but it didn't translate well to the computer.

Also there is probably not enough smoke billowing out, but then again there's a lot of things that aren't really physically correct about my art so there you go.

I think the most perfect part of this page is Clarabelle's face in the last panel. Aside from the fact that her closer eye is a bit too large, I got that expression exactly the way I wanted it to look. What does it say to you? I was going for conveying multiple emotions, so I'll be pleased to hear whether they are palpable.

Over on the righthand corner of the first panel, you can catch a faraway glimpse of Wallwater's industrial area. I'm really pleased I worked out the town map before I got to this part of the chapter, it made drawing little incidental background details much easier.

Pain, disbelief, concern.

@Ddraigeneth: And just a touch of indignance, but otherwise that's a pretty good summary :P

That's a definitely great expression in the last panel! I think Cal's both really angry at Aggie and worried about her going away.

...aaand Friends Never Say Goodbye started playing in my head. ;A;
