Coulda turned out worse.
Say, speaking of forests, did you guys ever see the Winnie the Pooh movie where there's a segment where Rabbit is lost in the freaking woods and everything there is terrifying, like the frogs sound like they're going to murder someone and bugs are eating menacingly? It came to mind while I was editing the page, and I kind of want to watch it again (I'm sure it's on youtube) just to see if it's anything as scary as I thought it was when I was three.
I too recall that movie. Ah, childhood.
Edit: Marie looks taller in that first panel.
@The_Hankerchief: You're right! I think I messed up the proportion ratio of her head to her body. Maybe she's just trying really hard to be like the other girls...
No chances of characters looking up at the script and walking on the letters to get through the forest to find him is there? lol
@TheSilverLeague: Oh man. That cements it, I need to dig out my Winnie the Pooh VHSes :P
D'aw, the last panel is adorable. In a kind of Where The Wild Things Are way when it all suddenly stops being loud and crazy and rebellious and becomes peaceful.
Ahaha, I was about to go to the next page when I started wondering if you did re-watch Pooh back then and then I remembered a sketch that seems hilariously appropriate - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgbk4lmrdF8
@Oly-RRR: Aaah thank you!! I kind of felt myself going for a Maurice-Sendak type of a vibe on this page :D
Ohmygoodness this skit is brilliant XD XD Poor Eeyore!!!!! Hahahahahahhahaha
