I inked these pages a long time ago, and by the time I got around to coloring them, well.

Eddie doesn't really need a cigarette to fall asleep. He's just being whiny.

There's some fun context/character parallels going on in this chapter, I'm a dweeb though, and I don't want to spoil it for readers. If you notice them, point them out, and at the end of the chapter I'll be a tremendous fucking wedgie-deserving nerd and talk about them in my final chapter comment. I think I'm just really excited because at first it was unintentional, then I started running with it, and now I'm noticing more unintentional little things that I didn't consciously include on purpose. I think my subconscious is a better writer than I am.

Or, you could, you know, read my comic like it's not tenth grade English class and just be like, normal and stuff.

i have a lot of problems

I like slipping hidden jokes/references in my comic too but I'm sure I'm not gonna catch one of these...all the same I love how you've managed to pull off drunk-talk, lol

@TheSilverLeague: Haha, thanks :P And yeah, the story will still read fine if you don't pick up on them. I mean, fuck, I scripted out the whole chapter before I noticed almost any of it. Like I said, my subconscious seems to be doing all the heavy lifting, here.

Just so you know, there's something inherently hilarious about that last panel, which could be a combination of an unfortunate angle of perspective, and just the fact that I'm hopelessly juvenile. I'll message you what I'm talking about

@The_Hankerchief: It's the schlong looking zipper I knowwww I'm going to see if I can fix it lmao, pming you back anyway

Reply mitchellbravo, October 7th, 2013, 7:48 pm

@The_Hankerchief: I think by covering up most of the zipper with the dialogue balloon, I got rid of the schlonglyness. If anything now it's a noble chode. Either way it's not as egregious as before.

We will all remember the day Loud Era was rated R.

Haha well done

I didn't quote it on the previous page so it wouldn't spoil the sketch for you but

"Pooh, we need to talk about your destructive relationship with honey!" :D

And I'm usually relatively good at noticing details and parallels and kind of suspect which moments I should go back to to check but I think I'll let you surprise me in the end of the chapter instead. X) I'll point them out if I'm sure though!

@Oly-RRR: Omg you reminded me I never actually *did* spoil all the details by the time it got to chapter's end XD You've caught a lot of little things so far though so you'll probably spot them better than I remember them :P
