I had a crush on a boy in high school who drove me home from a movie night we'd had at a friend's house, I had a big stuffed animal with me and probably some food. I went to get out of his car and gave him a hug goodbye. As I turned to unlatch the door he went, "Wait."

I turned to him, heart pounding.

He picked up my stuffed animal and hugged it.

I wasn't really expecting that, but it's weirdly adorable.

Oh man, your stuffed animal story... High school is a cruel time. :P

This is adorable (poor Marie though - be careful what you wish for!) and hahaha the stuffed animal story! XD Life is so weird that way - something like that happens and I catch myself thinking "If I put it in comics everyone will say it would never happen in real life..."

@Oly-RRR: At least Marie's right enough in the head to not still try to go for it while he's conked out like that D: Besides the fact I can't imagine he'd have very tolerable breath at this point, lmao.

It's funny how personal anecdotes work their way in to these things, considering it's not really an autobiographical story whatsoever. Like sometimes I'll write a piece and be like "Hmmm, this does seem oddly fami-OH MY GOD."
