This week was so shitty, there was just no good time for me to work on editing this motherfucker of a page until today, so apologies for the delay. Things were so frustratingly infuriating on Monday and Tuesday especially that when I got home in the evening I didn't even want a glass of wine, I reverted all the way back to age 9 and needing a glass of milk. (Who knew bad luck cures alcoholism??)

I suppose if you're the type to read homoerotic undertones into Leon and Tony's relationship this is a great page to have up on Valentine's Day.

I would love, love, love to have this chapter done by the end of February, since the first page went up at the end of Feb last year. Likelihood of that happening based on the past several updates is really pequena but it's something to aim for at least.

The chapter has four pages remaining but I might try to cram it into three because less pages generally means less work which generally means I can poop stuff out faster. WE'LL SEE. AREN'T YOU EXCITED.

Eat chocolate, watch a movie of your choice! Hug your s/o or smile at your single self in the mirror! I know I'll be watching The Sting and eating truffles at some point. Pray for me that none of them are secretly fruit flavored!

edit: Holy shit lmao

The only thing I'll say is that that comic took place nearly 8 months prior to this one, we can pretend Tony went through a growth spurt of sorts in that time

I totally don't blame you for the delay (it'd be rich coming from me with my one update per month on average anyway) but ahhh I was waiting for this page. X)

And I'm not the type to read homoerotic undertones into stuff much so at the risk of making people sad when scrolling the comments I'll say that THIS PAGE FEELS LIKE SOME SORT OF FUTURAMA SEYMOUR WAITING FOR FRY MOMENT. ;A;

...and then they'll meet again in their 70s and decide to marry after all like in Last Tango In Halifax! Lol not likely but I felt like mentioning Last Tango In Halifax because it's also about paths parting naturally and crossing again years later.

Big twist: Leon ends up throwing himself under a train :O

In all seriousness, awesome page :) Also really amazing to see how much your art has improved over the years :D

@Oly-RRR: huehuehuehuehue :3

NOOOOMG THAT COMPARISON *cries forever* AND THEN THE REDIRECT LMFAO. I'm totally down with Tony and Leon having a late-in-life Canadian marriage XD

hahahahahahahaha it's like I look back at those old pages and I just... I can't. How did I draw those faces and sit back and say YAP DAT GOOD DAT ACEPTABIL. XD But either way I just pictured you transforming into several of Mrs. Marconi's sisters at once and all squeezing at his cheeks XD

@avian-reader: LOL. I can't make any promises.... but no I can totally make a promise that he won't get train-mashed XD

And thank you so much!! It's so bizarre sometimes to compare the old stuff but at the same time it makes me feel good about the future assuming I continue to improve! :'D

@mitchellbravo: Pff, no, we all had it happening! I had several art teachers at different points saying something along the lines that art is a lot about seeing and that young artists often learn tricks to make their drawings look more "correct" but they don't exactly see what actually makes them wonky, that kind of thing? On the upside looking back like this makes us notice progress. :D

@avian-reader: @mitchellbravo: There's an Anna Karenina joke waiting to happen there! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Karenina Holy shit, even plot summary of that book is a lot to read (I'm referring to the end of part 7). Leo Tolstoy would so be making webcomics if he lived in our time...

I wish my goodbyes were more like this. Often, squirrels just suddenly stop appearing and that's that!
