I think Aggie and Lucky Dan turned out too washed out after I edited this, but uh, the whole "tired of looking at this page" thing.

I liked drawing the rug. I could get used to rugs. Expect more rugs.

There was surely more I wanted to say but uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

That's some classy acting there, Aggie! :D Especially with that shiner that TOTALLY has nothing to do with it all! I think panel 5 is my favourite though the backgrounds are generally fun to look at!

And when I saw all those instruments behind Lucky Dan I couldn't help thinking "It's kids who want to drop their music class pawning their instruments for pocket money!" even though considering the era it's more likely to be more sad than that.

Oh, oh, speaking of pawn shops. There's an example in Will Eisner Instructionals based on that shortest short story about baby shoes never worn and I've been sitting staring at it for five minutes thinking "Why did I always assume the baby was dead? Maybe it was born without legs but grew up to be a happy accomplished person and then it's not a sad story" and MITCHELL IS IT A WARNING SIGN OF A WRITER VERSION OF PROFESSIONAL DEFORMATION????

@Oly-RRR: I was quite pleased with panel 5 myself, it probably lost the least of its magic after being inked and colored!! I had pretty good fun with the backgrounds too, though I feel bad that they're still kind of, like, vague? But I have my limits about how much time I can spend characterizing a scene that will literally only be on one page, you know :P

LOL. I like that interpretation. It made me think of like, modern kids selling their instruments to buy Guitar Hero equipment since it's higher reward/lower risk XP

AHAHAHAHA you know... as the Internet's Only Disabled People Comic(tm) it is your duty to make that into a page-longer XD

@mitchellbravo: I dunno, I think it's reasonably detailed - it gives an idea of a pawn shop, it doesn't necessarily have to be all Where's Wally. :D I FOUND A POT WITH A FACE AND ANOTHER ONE WITH BOOBS HOW IS THAT NOT DETAILED

Gosh, I need to put something about Guitar Hero in the comic eventually - if they can modify controllers to play first person shooters with head switches only I bet Guitar Hero is playable too. :B

Hahaha I like the way you're thinking! This looks like an excuse to develop more characters as well! :D

I can't remember the name of your armless artist (HIS NAME ISN'T WHALE???? IDK WHY MY BRAIN KEEPS BEING LIKE "Yeah the guy Whale" NO) but I can imagine him winning a bet over playing Guitar Hero against someone else :P

Reply Oly-RRR, April 4th, 2015, 11:42 am

@mitchellbravo: Hahaha!

He's Jon lol (is there some famous Jon the whale I don't know of? Jonathon the orca?? :D) but yeaaah gosh he'd totally go for it and FLATTEN THEM, people never expect that of him with anything...

@Oly-RRR: I KNEW IT WAS ONE SYLLABLE YOU SEE :0 Lmao maybe my mind had short circuited from Jon -> Don -> Dale (but KNOWING it couldn't be Dale because Dale is a different character) -> MUST BE WHALE THEN.

@mitchellbravo: Hahaha now I feel the need to make Whale happen this is awful (also I keep sneaking in marine mammals on t-shirts and such in doodles, I know Emma likes them but HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LIKE THEM MUST DRAW MORE) :D
