The Fairfaxes here refer to the very same of this page from chapter 4, which was surprisingly only 3 years ago, it feels longer to my tired eyes. (Damn, my inking was a lot better back then)

That page features a letter, this one a phone conversation, next thing you know the cast will have AIM accounts

Here are two pages from chapter 5 that explicitly discuss Cecilia's family's feelings about her relationship with Joseph, which also may shed light on why they're essentially sweeping her away without giving her time to say farewells to anyone. (Damn, my inking was a lot worse back then)

@General.Hankins: A HUGE, HUGE thanks to the General, who sent along another donation last week. That is going to buy SO many markers and refills, and has freed me of considerable worry about whether I'd be able to afford to do so. Thank you so much for your generosity, dude!!!! I can't thank you enough for it.

Awww the dialogue- when person A is all happy and wanting to talk about good stuff and the other one is trying to find the least uncomfortable moment to drop a bombshell. 8C When they say summer is a time for romance they forget that half the people travel during the time (and the other half can't afford it).

THE OLD PAGES and comments ARE SUCH A MEMORY LANE, THEY MAKE ME GRIN ALL OVER AGAIN :D

PS. What would Jospeh's AIM handle be though??
Edit: I went to edit the typo above but then got a feeling that could be the answer to my own question so I kept it... >_>

Aww, Joseph was frozen in time, waiting to Cecilia about his good day for months, and then this happens. I feel for you Broseph. Lol

Happy to help a Great Artist make Great Art, even when story gets a little sad. ;)
