It seems like the new tradition to start off each year with a scene featuring Eddie & Phil. (by tradition I mean it's now happened twice)

2018 was an intense and busy year for me. I moved out of my family's house into an apartment with my then-fiance, got married, got a full time job, and... yeah!

Every year I promise to update more frequently, and so far it's never happened. I won't make that promise this year because it's just useless words. All I can say is I have a lot of storylines I'm looking forward to exploring with the cast, and that barring large changes the rest of this chapter should clock in around another 35-40 pages. This scene is 5 pages long (the pages are all scanned, but not edited yet besides this one) and then the next scene bounces us to a flashback featuring Aggie. Things are starting to settle into a routine at work now, and I'm hoping to have more energy when home to be able to produce more pages. It'd be really significant if I could finish this chapter this year.

Thanks to my returning readers and my new ones (Loud Era finally got over 100 fans on Smackjeeves this year!) for joining me & sticking around. This year also marks the ten year anniversary of the first Loud Era comic I ever put online, so look for some silly celebratory crap related to that soon as well.

See you next week!! :D

10 years!?
That's dedication! Looking at your archive, it means you post a comic once every 12 days or so.
Those are rookie numbers!
You gotta bump those numbers up!

@Squirreltastic-Blue: XP
I used to churn out comics once a week back in the early days. However, many of those pages are no longer included in the archive, so perhaps something is to be said about quality over quantity....

but yeah, agreed :P

It's good to see Eddie and Phil. And new pages. And just things moving ahead. <3

Teehee, Phil thinks he's so cool there but it's not like he's fitting in either.

@Oly-RRR: :D :D :D :D

Phil is definitely the kind of guy who was a nerd as a kid, got bullied, and has now swung the pendulum as far the other way as he knows how...

@mitchellbravo: This is so sad because there is A LOT of people like that out there... So you're torn between wanting to help them and wanting to punch their teeth in. ._.
